Wanetta June (Booth) Holder passed away at age 89 on November 19th, 2023.
June grew up in Knoxville, Iowa, moving to Des Moines, Iowa after college.
June was residing in Beaverton, Oregon. She played high school basketball and won a college scholarship.
June was employed at the same company as a secretary for over 30 years and retired in 1995 from Unisys.
She enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping, and traveling in their motor home.
After retiring she volunteered at Hospice and Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.
In 2010 she moved to Oregon along with her daughter to be near her only Grandson.
She enjoyed her remaining years exploring the Northwest, spending time along the coast.
She was predeceased by her mother Dessie Booth, Father John Booth, and Brother Duane Booth, and Husband Charles D. Holder.
She leaves behind her daughter Kelli Smith, and grandson Matthew (Madison) Smith.
June was a very loving and thoughtful person who will be missed greatly by her family and friends and Oliver her companion (dog).
No funeral or memorial service will be held.
