Services for Joyce Ann (Courtney) Glover, 37, of Knoxville, who passed away March 16, 1992, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, were held March 18 at Williams Funeral Home.
Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. L.H. Swartzendruber and Rev. Earl Kelly officiated at the services. Music was provided by organist Darlene Mooberry and vocalist Jean Smith.
Casketbearers were Brian Courtney, Kyle Courtney, Rick Glover, Steve Glover Randy Rowley, and Rod Schippers.
Joyce Ann Glover, the daughter of Patricia Joyce Beaver and William James Courtney, was born June 15, 1954, in Oskaloosa.
Joyce was united in marriage to Dwayne Earl Glover on March 1, 1980, at the Assembly of God Church in Knoxville. To this union, two sons were born.
Joyce worked as a cook in various Knoxville restaurants such as Beulahs, Mr. C’s, Corner CafĂ©, Country Kitchen, and Aunt Annies.
In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, quilting, and crocheting.
She attended the First Assembly of God Church in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Joyce in 1982.
Survivors included her husband, Dwayne Glover of Knoxville; two sons, Curtis Dwayne Glover, 11, and Adam Lee, 10 of Knoxville; her father, Bill Courtney of Knoxville; one brother, Harold Courtney of Pleasantville; three sisters, Mrs. William (Cheryl) Noel of Daytona, Fla.; Madonna Courtney and Cindy Courtney both of Knoxville, as well as other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to her family in her name.
