Joy Evelyn Perry, daughter of George Alphon and Eva J. Perry, was born March 10, 1911, in Marion county, Iowa, and passed away at the University Hospital, Omaha, Nev., Saturday, Dec. 7, 1946.

On Sept. 18, 1929, she was married to Harold Dimmick of Knoxville. To this union one daughter, Joan, was born. She made her home in Knoxville practically all her life with the exception of the past year when the family moved to Hastings, Nebr.

The deceased was a charter member of the Knoxville V.F. W. Auxiliary and became a member of the Methodist church early in life. She was preceded in death by her mother Oct 26, 1936, and her father Nov. 19, 1946.

Surviving relatives are her husband and daughter; two brothers, George E. of Oskaloosa; Walter B. of Hartford, Ia; two sisters, Esther (Charles) Yando of St. Louis and Ruth (Chester) Bailey of Knoxville, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Paul M. Hann at 3 p.m. Monday at the Bybee-Davis Funeral home and burial was in the Breckenridge Cemetery.
