Benjamin Arthur McMillen, son of Ross C. and Grace Jones McMillen, was born March 21, 1916, at Foxhome, Minn., and died Wednesday, November 13, 1946, at his home in Knoxville following almost a year of illness.

On November 20, 1938, the deceased was united in marriage to Mary Johnson, at Lancaster, Mo., and they established their home in Knoxville. To this union four children were born; David Ross, Margaret Ann, Virginia Mae, and Rosemary.

The deceased was employed at the Knoxville post office for almost six years and was well known in this community.

Mr. McMillen was baptized and received into the membership of the First Methodist church, on August 18, 1946, and was a faithful attendant even when he was hardly able.

The deceased was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Margaret Ogden, on January 11, 1940, and by his mother, on April 9, 1944.

Surviving are his widow and four children, his father, Ross C. McMillen; four sisters; Mrs. Carl Hodges, of Brocton, N.Y.; Mrs. Scott Mitchell, of St. Cloud, Mi9nn., Mrs. Clarence Breese and Mrs. John McKamey, of Des Moines, and one brother, Henry McMillen, of Des Moines, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services were conducted by his pastor, Rev. Paul Hann, from the First Methodist church, Saturday, November 16, at 2:30. Burial was in Graceland cemetery.
