Joseph Burton Stevenson, 81, of Kerrville, Tex., passed away Dec. 10, 1989 at his residence.
He was born February 16, 1908 to Loren and Joy Templeton Stevenson in Marion County. He had been a resident of Kerrville for five years, moving there from Knoxville. He was a retired farmer and electrician.
He married Myrtle Powers on July 7, 1928 in Unionville, Mo. He was a member of the Methodist Church, Shriners and was a 32nd Degree Mason.
Survivors are: his wife, Myrtle Stevenson of Kerrville; one daughter, Mrs. Dean (JoAnn) Wilson of Kerrville, one son, L.D. Stevenson of lone, Wash.; and seven grandchildren including Mrs. Steve (Brenda) Frost of Bussey.
There will be no services held for Mr. Stevenson at this time. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
