On Saturday, May 15, 2021, John Storm, loving husband, and stepfather, passed away at the age of 84 in Boerne, Texas.

John was born on August 6, 1936, in Chariton, Iowa, to Levi and Mary Storm. He served in the United States Navy at the end of the Korean War and then served in the United States Army.

John married Dana (Bohannon) Greenwood on May 30, 1977, after meeting her on a business trip to Houston two years earlier.

After his service to our country, John worked for Rockwell International and Boeing as an Aerospace Engineer. At the pinnacle of his career, John led a team of over 300 engineers responsible for research and engineering on the B-1 Bomber Program before retiring in 1996. He was known for his strong intellect and exceptional leadership during his career.

John was an avid golfer, both as a spectator and a player. He and Dana moved to Pinehurst, North Carolina, to enjoy the many golf courses and beautiful countryside during their retirement. In 2000 they relocated to San Antonio to assist with the care of Dana’s parents.

John was a constant reader of novels of international intrigue, spies, and adventure.   He was also an original “do it yourself” home remodeler and loved woodworking, a passion that he passed down to his son.
