Jerry Lynn Williams of Kansas City, Missouri, died of cancer, Wednesday, morning, January 10, 2018. He was born June 7, 1940, in Iowa, the son of Jeanne Allen and Roger Williams.

He worked at U.S. Postal Service at Activism from 1972 to the present.

Jerry later studied Hydraulics & Pneumatics at Central Missouri State University.

Survived by his son David Williams and daughter Amanda Fiene, sister Julie and brother Jim, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, first wife Harriet Freetly, and partner Shirley.

He was a high school graduate of Knoxville, IA lettering in sports. He joined the US Navy in 1962 and was awarded the honor man and academic award.

Services will be Thurs., Jan. 25 at First Baptist Church of Turner, 701 S. 55th St., KCK, with visitation at 10:00 am, and Memorial service following at 11:00 am.
