Jane Anne (Greer) Clark was born on December 25, 1920 in Marion County, Iowa the daughter of Chester Ray Greer and Ruth Irene (Perry) Greer.

She was raised in the Knoxville area and graduated from Knoxville High School.

On May 17, 1941, she was united in marriage to Cecil Clark in Unionville, Missouri. The couple always farmed in the Pinchy area. Through the years, Jane Anne baked a lot of pies for family and friends and always enjoyed crocheting afghans. She and Cecil also enjoyed many Saturday nights at the Guys and Gals Dance Club in their younger years. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church.

Jane Anne passed away Saturday, July 15, 2000, at her home at the age of 71 years, from complications of scleroderma, the body was cremated.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Sara Ryerson.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Cecil; two sons: Dennis and wife Linda of Pleasantville, and Bruce of Pleasantville; daughter Patricia Jordan and husband Gary of Knoxville; brother Richard Bailey of Knoxville; sister, Frances King of Cheyenne, Wyoming; two grandchildren: Todd and Jodi Clark, and many other cherished family members and friends.
