Howard John “Jack” Aleff of Knoxville, Iowa passed away quietly in his home on February, 10th 2024 at the age of 74.
Jack was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Heidi Elizabeth Aleff, his former wife Linda Kay Aleff, and his parents Howard and Phyllis Aleff.
He is survived by his spouse, Reena Slominski, and by his 3 daughters (with Linda): Lara Lin (Brent) Thomas of State Center and their children
Kacey and Eloise: Maggie (Jeff) Wilson of Knoxville and their children Colin, Courtney, and Aubrey; and Abbie Aleff of Knoxville.
He is also survived by his 2 sisters; Andrea Aleff Nelson and Jane (Bob) Sirek both of Florida as well as by a niece and nephew and their spouses.
A family visitation will be held on Friday, February 16th at the First United Methodist Church of Knoxville from 6-7:30 pm.
Jack was a long-time supporter of 4-H. Therefore instead of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Marion County Extension.
