Services for Irene (Morgan) Casey, 82, who died Jan 1, 1984 at Westridge Manor Nursing Home, were held Jan. 4 at Bybee and Davis Funeral Home.
Interment was in Graceland Cemetery. Rev. William Travis officiated at the services.
Music was provided by James Kidder, organist.
Pallbearers were Stan Kimm, Max Hall, Ted DeJoode, Ken McLeod, Raymond Jones, and Archie Beem.
Mrs. Casey was born on June 25, 1901 at Carlisle, the daughter of Elmer E. and Mary Alice Dressler Morgan.
She was a graduate of Knoxville High School and was a legal secretary for many years for the firm of Vanderploeg, Hays and Heer.
In 1936 she married William D. Casey in the Christian Church in Knoxville.
She was a member of the First Christian Church and the American Legion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three brothers.
She is survived by one brother Frank of Southport, Conn. and one sister, Opal O. Karns of Knoxville; two nieces; and one nephew.
