Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie (Harvey) Welch, 61, who died March 5, 1971, at Pella Community Hospital, were held March 8 from Bybee & Davis Funeral Home with Rev. William Travis officiating.
Burial was in Breckenridge Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ted Harvey, Bob Harvey, Eugene Harvey, Dwight Harvey, Billy McCorkle and Clifford Harvey. Mrs. Mary Ellen Hall, organist accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Westberg.
Hattie L., daughter of William Ulysis and Margaret Anna Lovell Harvey, was born Dec. 3, 1909 on a farm east of Knoxville. She attended the Knoxville public schools and graduated in 1929.
She taught school for four years at Clay Center rural school.
On Nov. 24, 1936 she was united in marriage to Lloyd Welch and resided on a farm until moving to Knoxville
in 1967. She was a lifetime member of Plymouth Presbyterian church and an active member of the Pleasure Time Club.
Her parents; two brothers, Charles and Jimmy; and sister, Mrs. Lena McCorkloe preceded her in death.
Surviving is her husband. Lloyd, and brother, Lorin Harvey of Knoxville.
