Memorial services for Harry Worth Stevenson, 82, of Knoxville, who died October
31, at the Pella Nursing Home, were held November 3, 1999, at Williams Funeral Home
in Knoxville.

Burial will be at a later date in Graceland Cemetery. Pastor Dean
Ulmer officiated the services. Music was provided by organist Jim Kidder, and vocalist
John Crawford.

Harry was born May 27, 1917 in Marion County the son of Mabel Jennie Jones and Burton
Andrew Stevenson. He graduated from the Knoxville High School.

Harry and his father
operated the International Harvester Implement Dealership in Knoxville for many
years. He also farmed and sold Pioneer seed corn. Harry worked as the Marion County
Shop Supervisor for 20 years.

Harry was a member of the First Christian Church in Knoxville. He was also a member
of the Knoxville Kiwanis and the Marion County Historical Society.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son Gary and one daughter Sue.

He is survived by one son, Kent Stevenson of Shawnee, Kansas, one daughter and son-in
law, Karen and Bobby Smith of Pella, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and
one brother Leland Stevenson of Phoenix, Arizona.

Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
