Gladys G. (Bailey) Park was born March 16, 1924, and passed away Feb. 6, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill L. Park (1984), brother Jas. Kenneth Bailey, sister Elmerine Hasso, and parents Jas. R. Bailey and Delia (Jeffers) Bailey Crozier, and beloved mother-in-law Georgia Pearle Park.
Gladys is survived by son Casey (Bonnie), of McKinney, Texas, and daughter Leann Corcoran (Dave), of Mantorville, Minn. Also survived by sister-in-law Doris (Bob) Edwards and brother-in-law Max
Gladys (Donna) Park, of Knoxville; and many nieces and nephews. was born in Marion County and attended Knoxville Public Schools before graduating in 1941.
She proudly served her country in WWII as Yeoman First Class, United States Coast Guard. Gladys and husband Bill resided in South St. Paul, Minn., after their marriage in 1947.
Burial and family services were held in South St. Paul, Minn., on Feb. 9. Memorial services will be held in Knoxville in the Spring of 2009.
