Gerald R. Fall, 66, of Bussey, died of leukemia, Thursday, January 1, 1998 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.

Services were held Saturday, January 3, at the Bussey United Methodist
Church. Burial was at Hamilton Cemetery in Hamilton. The Rev. Raymond Doser officiated
at the services.

Gerald was born June 7, 1931, in Farmington, Ill., the son of John
Fall and Mary Rogers Fall.

He was united in marriage to Letha Dehring on October
2, 1964, in Bussey. He was a PTSD Counselor at the Veterans Hospital and had also
worked for Jude Coal Company. He served in the Air Force.

He was preceded in death
by his parents; a brother, Walton; and a sister, Irene Boles.

He is survived by
his wife of Bussey; a son, Jon Fall of Ankeny; a daughter, Lori Fall of Kirksville,
Mo.; a brother, John Jr. of Bussey; a sister, Wilma Wagner of Knoxville; and two grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Bussey Little League, and the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements were made by Gilbert-Nordstrom Funeral Home in Bussey.
