Funeral services for Frank Frusch Jenkins, who died Nov. 1, 1965 at Collins Memorial hospital, were held Nov. 5 from Bybee & Davis funeral home with, Rev. Paul Kniess officiating

Burial was in Graceland cemetery.

Paulbearers were Charlie Ream, Clarence Bryan, Vance Clingman, Walter Kingery, Maurice Johnson and Roy VanderLinden Mrs. C. B. Burroughs, organist, accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Westberg. Mrs. Charlotte Harrison and Mrs. Leta Bachman were in charge of the flowers.

Frank Frush; son of William (b.1866-d.1949) and Matte Jenkins (b.1859-d.1943), was born August 17, 1896 in Knoxville. He attended the grade schools and graduated from high school here in 1915.

He served in the Navy during WWI and received an honorable discharge with the rating of Quarter Master 3. In January, 1919, while serving at Toronto, Italy, he was chosen as one of the honor guard to meet President Wilson on his visit to Rome.

Most of his life was spent an the farm which his grandfather homesteaded some 100 years ago, On Dec. 25, 1919, he was united in, marriage to Lois Overton.

He was a director of Brownlee school board for several years, a member of First Baptist church and served on the building committee for three years.

Survivors include his wife Lois; seven children Mary (Glen) Harris, Apache Junction Ariz., William O., Frances (Leonard) Jones, Jean (Lyman) Smith, Frank Jr. and Stephen, Knoxville and John stationed with the air force in Germany; 22 grand-children, one step-granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; one aunt, Mrs. Mae Jenkins, Knoxville.
