Frances Marie Myers, 89, passed away at Griffin Nursing Center, Knoxville, IA on Thursday, August 3, 2006.
She has been cremated and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Frances was born in Knoxville November 8, 1916 to Archibald and Lyda (Pepper) Dixon. She graduated high school in Knoxville and moved to Des Moines, spending all of her adult life here until entering the care center in Knoxville.
Frances taught music lessons In her home for many
years.
She was a life-long
member of the Reorganized Latter Day Saints Church.
She is survived by her son, Dan Myers of Altoona, IA; her sister, Shirley Fiscus of Arizona; her brother, Herb Dixon of North Carolina; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George N. (Harry) Myers, in MI.
