Forrest F. Kennedy, 55 , of 4000 Richmond Ave. died of a blood clot in a lung Wednesday, Feb. 7, 1996,
at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton's Funeral
Home, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Kennedy was born,Feb 11, 1940, in Knoxville and
lived in Des Moines 29 years. He was a mail handler for the U.S. Postal Service
and a member of the Mail Handlers Union.
Surviving are his wife, Joy; three daughters,
Kim Kennedy and Karen Kennedy, both of Des Moines, and Sherrie Pyle of Plano, Texas;
his mother, Tressa Kennedy of Knoxville; two sisters, Jean Jennings of Des Moines
and Frances Kennedy of Knoxville; a brother, Paul of Melcher-Dallas; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be
present from 6 to 8 p.m.
