Funeral services for William Forrest Hodges II, 33, of Knoxville, who died January
31, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, were held February 3, 1996
at Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville.
Burial was at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville.
The Rev. Bob Price officiated at the services. Music was provided by Darlene Mooberry,
organist, and LuAnn Tandy, vocalist. Pallbearers were Roger Carter, Kevin Long,
Rich Marshall, Kevin Wahl, Bob Wiggins, and Brad Wiggins. Honorary bearers were
Brian Clarke, Coady Clarke, and Ross Clarke.
Bill was born March 23, 1962, in Knoxville,
the son of Darlene June Abernathy and Larry Don Hodges. He grew up in the Knoxville
area and graduated from Knoxville High School in 1980.
He had worked for Stevenson
Landscaping and Utterback Furniture, and more recently worked for David Wollet
Window Service and the Rankin family.
He is survived by his parents, of Knoxville;
a son, Dylan of Knoxville; two sisters, Lori Dawn Hodges of Des Moines, and Candy
Rhea Clarke of Knoxville; two nephews, Coady Clarke and Ross Clarke, both of Knoxville;
and his grandmother, Imogene Hodges of Knoxville.
Memorials may be made to the D.A.R.E.
Program of Knoxville, and the the National Institute of Mental Health.
