Funeral services for Esther Ernestine (Perry) Yando, 91, of Knoxville, who died February
14, at Knoxville Area Community Hospital, were held February 17, 1997, at Williams
Funeral Home in Knoxville. Burial was at Breckenridge Cemetery in Marion County.

The Rev. Bob Ward officiated at the services. Music was provided by Darlene Mooberry,
organist. Pallbearers were Kevin Ball, Rick Booth, Jeremy Jaeger, John Moe, Keith
Perry, Philip Perry, Ed Yando, and Dean Zelinski.

Esther was born December 3, 1905, in Marion County, the daughter of George Alphon
and Eva Jane Harvey Perry. She was a lifelong Marion County resident, and graduated
from Knoxville High School.

She was united in marriage to Charles Beeby Yando on December 26, 1929, in Knoxville.
She was a homemaker, and a member of the United Methodist Church in Knoxville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Elouise; a sister,
Joy; three brothers, Paul, Everett and Burdett.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary
Alice Yando of Sun City, Arizona; a son, Daniel of Indianola; a sister, Ruth Irene
Bailey of Knoxville; seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Radio Ministry.

Arrangements were made by Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville.
