Ellden Paul Anderson, 68, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026.

Elden’s celebration of life will be held at the Harvey Community Center, 300 Main St. Harvey, Iowa 50119 on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. a luncheon will be held following the service for a time of visiting and fellowship.

He was a man who lived life his way and made every moment count. Known for his warm smile, kind heart, and gift for conversation, Elden truly never met a stranger. Whether talking with an old friend or someone he had just met, he had a way of making people feel welcome.

An avid outdoorsman, Elden found joy in nature and spent countless hours fishing, hunting for mushrooms, and searching for arrowheads. He appreciated the simple pleasures of the outdoors and the treasures that could be found along the way.

Elden was a passionate collector who loved antiques, comic books, and sports cards. He never passed up the opportunity to find a hidden gem at an auction, garage sale, or flea market, and he took pride in discovering a great bargain.

His curiosity and appreciation for history made every collection a reflection of his unique personality.

A talented craftsman, Elden spent many years restoring automobiles, specializing in bodywork and painting. He had an eye for detail and a deep satisfaction in bringing old vehicles back to life.

His artistic talents extended beyond cars; he was an exceptional painter of action figures and miniatures, creating works admired by those who saw them.

Elden enjoyed relaxing with a good movie and starting each day with a warm cup of coffee. These quiet moments, along with his many hobbies and passions, brought him great happiness throughout his life.

Above all, Elden will be remembered for his generosity, his sense of humor, and the genuine way he connected with others.

His love for family, friends, and the things that brought him joy leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories.

Though he is gone from our sight, the stories he shared, the laughter he inspired, and the life he lived so fully will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
