Funeral services for Dorothy Margaret (Clark) Onstank, 94, of Knoxville, who died October 30, at the Knoxville Area Community Hospital TLC Unit, were held November 2, 1996, at First United Methodist Church in Knoxville. Burial was at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville.

The Rev. Martha Ward officiated at the services. Music was provided by Martha Prichard, organist, and Madonna Milburn, soloist. Pallbearers were Jim Jones, Jacob Boden, Jared Boden, Jeff Jenkins, Charles Boden, and Dennis Haselhuhn.

Dorothy was born August 20, 1902, in Nebraska, the daughter of Frank and Maud Todd Clark. The family moved to Knoxville when she was very young, and she lived in the Knoxville area the rest of her life. She attended country school in the area, and after graduation, began teaching school.

She was united in marriage to John Onstank on February 23, 1924, in Des Moines. The couple raised their family on a farm northeast of Knoxville, moving to Knoxville in 1961.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Knoxville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two brothers, William and Harmon.

She is survived by three daughters, Virginia Onstank, Maude Roff, and Martha Jenkins, all of Knoxville; a sister, Lois Boden of Sioux City; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Marion County, First United Methodist Church Radio Ministry, and T.L.C. Unit of Knoxville Area Community Hospital.
