Services for Donald Dean Light, 16, of Knoxville, who died December 13, were held December 16, 1994, at First United Methodist Church in Knoxville.

Burial was at Bellefountaine Cemetery in Tracy. Pastor Thomas Kirkman officiated at the services.

Music was provided by Cindy Todd, the pianist.

Pallbearers were Nick Woolsey, Mike Lange, Shane Kaster, Josh Schrader, Jason Overmyer, Les Johnson, Brian Hatch, and Mike Cecil.

Honorary pallbearers were Christian Bridges, Dick Reed, and Darrel Stanton.

Donnie was born on September 15, 1978, in Des Moines, the son of Vance and Elaine Roozeboom Light.

He had lived most of his life in the Knoxville area, except for four years
in Indianapolis, Ind.

He was a sophomore at Knoxville High School. He enjoyed playing
baseball and was a member of the Babe Ruth League in Knoxville.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Al Roozeboom; his paternal grandfather, Donald Light; maternal great-grandmothers, Louisa Roozeboom and Norris Scotton; maternal great-grandfathers, Marinus Roozeboom and Chauncey Scotton; paternal great-grandfathers, Tim Fee, and Elbert Light; and two cousins, Kent Veenstra and Colen Arkema.Donald Light

He is survived by his parents, both of Knoxville; two sisters, Bobbi Jo Light of Knoxville, and Savannah Light of Des Moines; three brothers, Scott Bridges of Columbia, Paul Bridges, and Vance Light II, both of Knoxville; his maternal grandmother, Martha
Roozeboom, paternal grandmother, Vivian Rowley, and paternal great-grandmothers, Violet Fee and Florence Light, all of Knoxville.
