Dolores (DuBree) Bailey, 86, passed away on June 19, 2018.
Dolores was born September 18, 1931, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Mary Irene Dotson and Roy Raymond DuBree.
She lived her childhood in Knoxville attending Knoxville Community Schools and graduating in the class of 1949.
In 1951, she moved to Kansas City, Missouri, worked at the Federal Reserve Bank, and met and married Philip S. Bailey. They had one son, Stephen Cole Bailey.
The family lived for two years in Oahu, Hawaii, during her husband’s military service. Upon returning to the states they lived in Kansas City, then moved to Knoxville where they lived for the next 50 years.
The most important things in Dolores’s life were God, her family, and her friends. She loved to entertain. Her home was always open for good meals, fun, and laughter.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Philip, and her son, Stephen. She will be dearly missed by many.
