Graveside services for Dolly Dorothy (Buttrey) Teter, 91, Knoxville, who died on Aug.
21, 1993, at Griffin Nursing Center in Knoxville, were Aug. 24, 1993, at the Greenwood
Cemetery.

The Rev. Aaron McCombs officiated at the service. Dorothy was born July 29, 1902, in Red Rock, the daughter of Virgil and Nancy Riherd Buttrey. She
graduated from Knoxville High School in the Class of 1920.

On Dec. 3, 1924, in Marion
County, she was married to Carroll Teter. The couple farmed in Marion County until
moving to California in 1939. Dorothy moved back to Knoxville in 1962. She had lived
at Griffin Nursing Center for many years. Dorothy was a long time member of the
First Christian Church in Knoxville.

She was preceded in Death by her parents, her
husband, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include one niece, Kay Maljeri
of El Cajon, Calif.; cousins; nieces; and nephews. The Evans-McCleery Funeral Home
in Knoxville was in charge of the arrangements.
