Dewayne Clarence Caylor age 80 of Knoxville, Iowa, passed away peacefully at the Chariton Nursing & Rehab Center on Sunday, October 11, 2015.

He was born on October 29, 1934, to Clarence Forrest and Nina Evelyn (Iverson) Caylor. He married Dawana Deloris (Ter Louw) on June 22, 1952.

Dewayne was a longtime resident of Marion County and retired from Maytag. He and Dawana were lifetime members of the Apostolic Church of Knoxville.

Dewayne is survived by one daughter, Nina (Thomas) Kelly of Oregon; five sons. David (Kathie) Caylor of Columbia, Clifford (Nellie) Caylor of Chariton, Phillip (Anne) Caylor of Illinois, Kevin (Jeanine) Caylor of Knoxville, and Jason (Rita) Caylor of Minnesota; ten grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by one sister, Carma Pickering of Harvey.

Dewayne is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Dawana on September 9, 2014; one sister, Myrtle Burklander; and one brother, Clarence Caylor.

Visitation for Dewayne will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Thursday, October 15, 2015, at the Winfield funeral Home of Knoxville.Dewayne Caylor

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 15, 2015, at Graceland Cemetery.
