Services for David Ray Loynachan, 53, of Hobby Farm near Knoxville, who died on
Jan. 1, 1994, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, were Jan. 4, 1994,
at the Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville.

Burial was at the Breckenridge Cemetery
in Marion County. The Rev. Mark Pries officiated at the service. Music was provided
by Janet Westberg and Dawn McKay. Pallbearers were Frank Folsom, Aaron Johansen,
Erik Johansen, John Litz, Curtis Loynachan, Marvin Loynachan and Todd Loynachan.
Honorary pallbearer was Travis Hack.

David was born on Nov. 3, 1940, the son of
Walter Ray Loynachan and Hallie Elizabeth Flanders. David attended school in the
Knoxville School System and graduated from Knoxville High School in the Class of
1958. He then attended college at Southern Methodist University and graduate in
1962.

He was employed by the Army-Air Force Exchange System after graduation. He
worked at various Army and Air Force bases throughout the world as a base supervisor.
His last supervisor capacity was in Germany. In October 1992, David returned to
the family farm near Knoxville, "Hobby Farm."

He was preceded in death by his parents
and one nephew, Travis. Survivors include two sisters, Barbara Hack of St. Peters,
Mo. and Nancy Johansen of Elgin, Ill.; one brother, Bob Loynachan; and nieces and
nephews. Memorials may be made to the Knoxville Fire and Rescue Unit.

The Williams
Funeral Home in Knoxville was in charge of the arrangements.
