Services for David 0. Cross of Atlanta, Ga., who died Sept. 21, 1979 at, Crawford W. Long Memorial Hospital, were held Sept. 24 at the Congregational United Church of Christ at Baxter.
He was born Jan. 18, 1941 at Baxter. He graduated from Knoxville High School in 1959.
He attended Clinton Junior College two years. He received his master's degree from Northeast College at Kirksville, Mo. He was working toward his PhD in psychology.
He was a clinical psychologist at Mt. Pleasant Hospital for several years, later moving to Louisiana and Atlanta, Ga. He attended the university in Georgia. And worked with
handicapped children.
Survivors are his wife, Carolyn and children, Tammy, Valissa and David, Jr.; sister; Mrs. Maurine Kennedy of Knoxville and brother, Edward E. Cross of Upper Marlbaro, Maryland.
