Services for G. Robert Hindman, 65, RR 3, Knoxville, who died Oct. 21, 1979 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C., were held Oct. 25, the Second Reformed Church, Pella.
The Rev, Wm. C. Hiullegonds and the Rev. Richard Lichti officiated at the services with interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Pella.

Mr. Hindman was born Sept. 30, 1914 in Marion County near Knoxville. He graduated from Knoxville Public High School with the class of 1933.

He married Nettie Messamaker Jan. 6, 1940 at Pella.
In addition to farming he also worked for the A.S.C. office in Knoxvile for 20 years. He served as community committeeman for ten years. He retired in 1977 due to ill health.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his father in 1949 and his mother Jan. 25, 1979.

He was a member of the Second Reformed Church of Pella.

Survivors include his wife, Nettie; daughters, Mrs. William (Marilyn) B6nsink of Salem, Oregon; Mrs. Daryl (Diana) Van Weelden of Pella; three grandchildren; three sisters; Mrs. C. R. (Leila) Wilkins of Ida Grove, Mrs. H. J. (Helen) Chandler of Knoxville and Mrs. H. A. (Edith) Bosch of Monroe.

Memorials may be made to the Second Reformed Church Memorial Fund.
