Services for Byron Bryan Frazier, who passed away Nov. 28, 1988 at the Knoxville Veterans Administration Medical Center, were held Dec. 1 at Williams Funeral Home. The Rev. Wayne Hoehns officiated.

Music was provided by Darlene Mooberry, organist and Richard Hunt, soloist. Interment was in Graceland Cemetery. Casketbearers were Robert Klootwyk, Richard McVay, Edward Nichols, Norman Miller, Dale Voyce, Herman Veenstra and Francis McDonald.

He was born April 19, 1900 at Knoxville to George Washington Frazier and Sarah Elizabeth Newman Frazier.

He was married to Lila Margarite Smith on Sept. 17, 1933 in Knoxville. He had been a carpenter and cabinet maker in the community. He was a 50-year member of the American Legion Post 168, a 50-year member of I.0.0.F. Lodge #90 and a 77-year member of the First United Methodist Church of Knoxville. He was a World War veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, two sisters, Lela Morse and Ada Graves, and two brothers, Noel and Jerry.

He is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. Frances Fee of Knoxville; time nieces, Mrs. Norman (Barbara) Miller of Des Moines, Mrs. Lois Mae Bisbee of Aurora, Colo., and Mrs. Robert (Darlene) Klootwyk of Pleasantville; two nephews, Edward Nichols and Richard McVay of Knoxville.
