Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Allen who died June 1 at Collins Memorial Hospital,
Were held June 6 from Bybee and Davis funeral home with Rev. George Yetter officiating.
Burial was in Graceland Cemetery.

Pallbearers were June Mc-Carty, Bonnie Loynachan, Pauline McNeish, Jossie DeHann,
Cathryn Woodle and Velta Johnston. Mrs. Elizabeth Elliott, organist accompanied
Wyatt Welch, soloist. Flower committee was Mary Mallace, Grace Starr and Marjorie Sherwood.

Blanche, the daughter of Harry and Maggie Wickliff Myers, was born July 19, 1904 in Knoxville,
On Nov. 16, 1940, she was married to Abe Allen. Her husband and parents preceded
her in death.

She graduated from Knoxville, high school in 1923 and was a member of First Methodist
Church.

She was employed as a law stenographer from 1931 until 1939, as deputy recorder
from 1939 until 1941 and secretary to H.E. DeReus from 1941 until December 1945.

Survivors include two brothers, Harold A. Myers of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Glenn Myers of Riverside, Calif., and one nephew.
