William “Bill” Keith Baker, Kimberling City, MO, son of Keith and Patricia (Piper) Baker was born May 16, 1950, in West Liberty, IA, and departed this life on November 30, 2008, in his home at the age of 58.
Bill was united in marriage to Nettie Smith on May 29, 1999. He had lived in the area for the past 20 years coming from Boone, IA, and was a motel business manager.
Bill was a member of the Elks Lodge, Shriners, and the Masonic Lodge. He was a U. S. Navy veteran having served three tours in Vietnam.
Survivors include: his mother, Patricia Baker of Fulton, TX; his wife, Nettie Baker
of Kimberling City, MO; four sons, Louis Herrera-Baker, and partner, Brett Bussan
of Chicago, IL, Carlos Herrera and wife, Julie of Knoxville, IA, Jim Baker, and wife,
Tonya of Knoxville, IA and Jaysin Smith of Branson, MO; two sisters, Nancy Buzza
and husband, Paul of Atlanta, GA, and Martha Barnes and husband, Mike of Fulton,
TX; 10 grandchildren, Cort, Anthony, Grant, Nyan, Jacee, Janae, Halle, Wake, Ella
and Dashell; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home-South, Kimberling City, MO.
