Graveside services for Beulah May (Welch) Kirkpatrick, 86, Chandler, Ariz., who died on Feb.
8, 1993, were Feb. 11, 1993, at the East Resthaven Cemetery in Phoenix, Ariz.
Beulah was born on Jan. 24, 1907, in Marion County, the daughter of Clyde and Ruth
Shilling Welch. She graduated from Knoxville High School in 1925 and taught in the
rural schools in Marion County for many years.
On June 27, 1938, she was united marriage to Fred Kirkpatrick.
The couple moved to Arizona in 1958 and Beulah taught school for 18 years in Gilbert,
Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Lena Cooper
of Knoxville and Hazel Simmons of Phoenix, Ariz.; and one brother, Everett Welch
of Knoxville.
She is survived by one sister, Rose Ellen Exline of Chandler, Ariz.; and several
nieces and nephews.
