Betty Louise (Roff) Beal, age 89, of Albia, passed away Wednesday morning, February 7, 2018 at the Monroe Care Center in Albia. She was born on August 17, 1928 to Wallace and Cyntha (DeMoss) Roff.
Betty married Elijah Junior Beal on June 28, 1948, and they were blessed with four children, Mike, Pat, Cyntha, and Jeff. Elijah died on February 22, 1963.
She later married Darl Dwight Beal on July 7, 1965, and they were blessed with one son, Andy. Darl died on July 18, 2011. She sold Avon products for almost forty years. She also worked for the Albia Police Department as a Secretary, worked for RSVP, and was also a Receptionist for Albia Realty.
She was active with the Monroe County Saddle Club. She was a member of the Young Mothers Woman Group at the First Christian Church in Knoxville. She enjoyed sewing, horseback riding, traveling, camping, and spending time with family.
Betty is survived by her children, Mike (Kathy) Beal of Peoria, AZ, Pat Beal of Albia, Cyntha See of Albia, Jeff (Mindy) Beal of Albia; daughter-in-law, Diane Beal of Albia, thirteen grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Cyntha Roff; husbands, Elijah Beal and Darl Beal; son, Andy Beal, grandson, Jerade See; one brother, Billy Roff, and sister-in-law, Maude Roff.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Sinnott Funeral Home in Albia with Pastor Brian Harris officiating.
Burial will follow services in Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018, opening to the public at 1:00 p.m., with Betty’s family present to greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening at Sinnott Funeral Home in Albia.
