Betty Lee (Dixon) Robuck was born on April 13, 1921 in Knoxville, Iowa the daughter of Oliver
Lee Dixon and Inez (Wilson) Dixon. Betty graduated from Knoxville High School.
On October 22, 1940, she was united in marriage to Howard Ora Robuck in Lancaster, Missouri.

She owned and operated Betty Lee's Music Studio in Knoxville for 30 years. Betty taught piano, guitar, banjo, organ, and accordion lessons to hundreds of children and adults over the years. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, ceramics, and painting. Betty had also taken writing classes at the University of Iowa and enjoyed journaling.

Another one of Betty's many talents was sewing, and she made many of her children's clothes as they were growing up. In their retirement years, Betty and Howard enjoyed wintering in Texas. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the Altar & Rosary Society. She played the organ and guitar at mass for
many years.

Betty passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2002, at the Pleasant Care Living Center, in Pleasantville, at the age of 81 years, 6 months, and 28 days.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard in 1999, and one brother in infancy.

Those left to honor her memory include two daughters: Lois Funk and husband Robert of Knoxville and Cheryl Robuck of Mason City; her son, Tony, and wife Nanette of Orlando, Florida; two grandsons: Bryan Funk and wife Andrew and Meghan, and many other family members and friends.
