Death of Mrs. Leonard Lafferty, 24, formerly Miss Bernice Harvey of Des Moines, occurred Sunday at Wichita, Kan., according to word received by her mother, Mrs. Madge Harvey, 1416 Beaver Ave.
Mrs. Lafferty died after a heart atttack; she had been subject to heart trouble for some time. Before her marriage, she was an employee of The Des Moines Capital. She came to Des Moines from Knoxville, her birthplace, and moved to Wichita from here two years ago.
Surviving her are her mother, husband, and a 3 year-old son, Leonard, jr. A brother Paul, lives in Los Angeles.
Funeral services for Mrs. Leonard Lafferty, 24, are to be held at Creston at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Lafferty, a former Des Moines woman, died Sunday, August 3, 1930, at her home at Wichita, Kan.
She was the former Miss Bernice Harvey and was born at Creston.
