Arl Gordon Haning was born January 11, 1932, in Red Rock, Iowa, to George and Bessie
(Gibbons) Haning.
He passed away Wednesday April 27, 2011, at his home.
Arl will
be deeply missed by his companion of 12 years, Cleo Storm; a brother, John (Pat)
Haning; three daughters, Kelli Reynolds, Angie (Dick) Sage, Lori (David) DeVries;
a son, Gordon (Emilee) Haning; ten grandchildren, Brandi (Mark) Dunbar, Tara (T)
Hoch, Josh Reynolds, Ashley (Ryan) McCarty, Lyndsey (Casey) Sullivan, Jordan (Jill)
Sage, Justin Haning, Jarred, Darrell, and Kaleb DeVries; eight great-grandchildren,
and many nieces and nephews.
Arl is preceeded in death by his parents; brothers
Gene and Robert; a sister, Loretta; and a grandson, Prince.
Per Arl's wishes, no
services are planned. A private family burial is being held at a later date. Memorial
may be directed to Hospice of Central Iowa in Knoxville, Iowa. Published in Des
