Services for Thomas Arthur Park, 48, Knoxville, who died on Dec. 21, 1992, at Northwest
Hospital in Arlington Heights, Ill. at the age of 48 years of age, were Dec. 24, at the First United Methodist
Church in Knoxville.

Burial was at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville. The Rev. Martha
Ward officiated at the service. Music was provided by Jim Kidder and Tim Gotta.
Pallbearers were Rick Kluth, Max Park, Dwight Mater, Jr., Mark Mater, Dennis Momyer, and Dwight Mater III.

Thomas was born on March 27, 1944, in Knoxville, the son
of Jack Olin and Margaret Johnson Park.

He graduated from Knoxville High School
in 1962. Thomas attended Parsons College in Fairfield and graduated from the Ray
Vogue School of Interior Design in Chicago, Ill.

He was a general manager for Playboy
Clubs International for 18 years. For the past five years, he was self-employed
in business financing in Arlington Heights, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his
maternal grandparents, Arthur and Alice Johnson; his paternal grandfather, Herbert
Park; his father; his step-father, Dr. Dwight Mater; and his step-sister, Mary Lynn
Albert.

Survivors include his dear friend, Rhonda Gorenz of Arlington Heights, Ill.;
his mother of Knoxville; one sister, Nancy Park Kluth of Chicago, Ill.; his grandmother,Tom Park
Georgia Pearl Park of Knoxville; one step-sister, Sally Mater of San Diego, Calif.;
and two step-brothers, Dwight Mater Jr. of Knoxville and Howard Mater of Denver,
Colo.

Memorials may be made to the Knoxville Public Library. The Evans-McCleery
Funeral Home of Knoxville was in charge of the arrangements.
