Thelma Pauline Stanton passed away on July 5, 2011 in Garland, Texas. She was born on May 2, 1919 in Tracy, Iowa.
Thelma was a charter member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church. She was a volunteer for many years at Lake Pointe Hospital and the Sachse Fire Department. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Stanton and sister, Wilma Boothe.
Thelma is survived by her daugher, Jeri Harrison and husband Mike; son, Larry Stanton and wife Chann; granchildren, Shannon King, Shelli Pryor, Kevin and Scott Harrison; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2011 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Restland Funeral Home.
