Services for Sue Ann (Stevenson) DeJoode of Pleasantville. who died January 12, 1979, were held Jan. 15, 1979, at the Christian Church in Knoxville. Officiating at the services
were Rev. William Travis and Rev. David Abbott, Organist was Anna Oscarson.

Casketbearers
were Gary Stevenson, Ed DeJoode, Don Agan, Kent Stevenson, Bob DeJoode, and Steve Jones. Honorary bearers were Carl DeJoode, Jerry DeJoode, and Larry Mosher. Interment was in Graceland Cemetery.

Sue Ann Stevenson DeJoode, daughter of Harry and Mary (Hodgson) Stevenson was born on Oct. 28, 1945, in Knoxville. Sue, by a previous marriage, had one daughter, Tracy.

On July 12, 1969, she was united in marriage to Paul DeJoode.
He had three sons by a previous marriage, Todd, John, and Scott.

Sue and Paul had one daughter, Dana, and one son, Steven. Sue was employed at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. She took her schooling at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
She was a 4-H leader and a member of the First Christian Church in Knoxville.

Sue Ann was preceded in death by her mother; her grandparents, Charles and Madge Hodgson, and her grandmother, Mabel Stevenson.

Survivors include her husband Paul; four sons; Todd, John, Scott, and Steven; two daughters, Tracy and Dana; father, Harry Stevenson, and step-mother, Charlene Stevenson; two brothers, Gary of Knoxville, and Kent of Ankeny; one sister, Karen of Knoxville; and her grandfather, Bert Stevenson.
