Steven Robert Elliott of Knoxville died July 21, 2004, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center at the age of 47.
He was born, on Mar 15, 1957, the son of Ruth Elliott-Willis and was preceded in death by his father Bob Elliott, his grandparents Joe and Edna Holt, and Ray and Eva Elliott.
He leaves behind these two brothers, Dennis Elliott (Inez) and their children of Cheshire, Conn., and Norman Elliott of Salt Lake City, Utah, and his sons.
He graduated from Knoxville High School, where he enjoyed the photography club, playing drums in the school band, swimming and tennis. He was a photographer for a time in Knoxville and in Duneden, Fla.
He was also in the Navy for four years and after returning home he enrolled in college at Kirksville, Mo., graduating with a degree in speech therapy, working in schools in the Harlan district. He later was employed by Pella Corp in Pella for a number of years.
By his wishes, the body was cremated and will be interred in Greenwood Cemetery at a later time.
