Sherry Lee Worrall, age 71, of Knoxville, died on June 5, 2016 at the Pella Regional Hospital.
A memorial service for Sherry will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, June 10, 2016, at Winfield Funeral Home of Knoxville. Burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation for Sherry will begin at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, June 10, 2016, at the Winfield Funeral Home. Sherry’s family will be present Friday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
Sherry was born on April 4, 1945, in Knoxville, Iowa to James Arthur and Betty Lee (Ford) Worrall. Sherry attended and graduated from Knoxville High School, Class of 1963.
Sherry was a homemaker who loved to spend time with her three children; Ryan, Angela, and Tony. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, and giving out candy. Sherry also enjoyed organizing and attending Mother’s Night Out events. Those who knew Sherry would describe her as a kind-hearted, determined woman who loved to help others.
Sherry is survived by her children, Ryan G. (Lisa) Marshall, Angela Sue (Mike) Jones, and Tony James (Amanda) DeMaria; her brother, Dean Jones; and two sisters, Sue (Ken) Thrailkill and Becky (Don) Bingaman. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and several family members and friends.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty (Ford) Worrall; her grandparents, Mable and Charlie Ford; her niece, Christy Bingaman; and many other family members.
