Ronald Gerald Ikerd was killed in a two-car collision north of Knoxville on Highway 14 about 9:00 pm Saturday Night, October 31, 1970.
Ikerd, who is survived by two sons: Ronnie Ikerd of Knoxville and Curt Ikerd, was employed at
Armstrong Tire Company in Des Moines, and was a member of the Iowa National Guard.
Services were held yesterday at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church with Rev. William Travis officiating.
Burial was in Newton, with Evans Arlington Chapel in charge of arrangements. Knoxville Journal Newspaper Clipping.
