Funeral services for Raymond Dale Heaberlin, 67, of Knoxville, who died February
14, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, were held February 17, 1998, at Williams Funeral.
Home in. Knoxville.

Burial was at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville. Pastor Tim Stanwood
officiated at the services. Music was provided by Joan Arnott, organist, and Dr.
Gordon M. Arnott, vocalist. Pallbearers were Jim Bailey, Lew Brent, Arden Graves,
Steven Brown, Clarence Gee, and Bob Graves. Honorary bearers were JayDee Brown,
Frank Karr, Fred Brent, Raymond Moore, and Warren Whaley.

Raymond was born April
9, 1930, in Polk County, the son of Ray and Beulah Graves Heaberlin. The family
lived for a short time near Hartford, before moving to a farm near Knoxville. He
attended Fee country school, and graduated from Knoxville High School in 1949.

He
was united in marriage to Bonnie Mae Bown on February 15, 1953, in Knoxville. The
couple farmed on the family's Century Farm northwest of Knoxville until their retirement
in 1986. He was a member of Christ's Church in Knoxville, and the I.O.Q.F. (Odd
Fellows) Lodge #90 in Knoxville.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is
survived by his wife Bonnie of Knoxville; two sons, Richard of Mesquite, Texas,
and Michael of Knoxville; a daughter, Dianna Mishler of Solon; his stepmother, Hazel
Heaberlin of Knoxville; and six grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Christ's
Church, and the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements were made by Williams
Funeral Home in Knoxville.
