Paula Gay (Robinson) Cowman, age 73, of rural Ewing, MO, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018, at her home. She was born on May 19, 1945, in Knoxville, IA the daughter of Paul and Betty L. Mudd Robinson.

She was united in marriage on May 28, 1962, to Tim Dale Cowman in Knoxville, IA.

Surviving are her husband Tim Cowman of Ewing, MO, one son Robert (Lisa) Cowman of Quincy, IL, three daughters, Leigh Ann (Tony) Waters of Quincy, IL, Jennifer (Shane) Wingerter of Quincy, IL, and Lydia (Tim) Pryor of Quincy, IL, one brother, David (Judy) Robinson of Newton, IA, eighteen grandchildren, Jeremy (Amber) Davis, Matt (Hannah) Cowman, Zach (Mercedes) Davis, Ben Wingerter, Madison Cowman, Bethany Wingerter, Michaela Cowman, Meridith Cowman, Hannah Davis, Corrie Wingerter, Levi Pryor, Gabriella Pryor, Lucas Pryor, Emma Cowman, Nathaniel Pryor, Raylan Cowman, Ayvah Cowman and Oliver Pryor, and seven great grandchildren Bryson, Andrew, Bailey, Adalynn, Kinsley, Henry and Oakley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Joseph Cowman.

Paula received her education in Knoxville, IA where she graduated from High School. She was a dedicated and faithful wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.

She and her husband lived in Iowa, Tennessee, Illinois, and for the past six years have resided south of Steffenville, MO.

She was an active member of Columbus Road Baptist Church in Quincy, IL where she taught children in Sunday school. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at Columbus Road Baptist Church in Quincy, IL. Reverend S.D. Bodwell will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery south of Steffenville, MO.

Music will be a selection by Vince Gil “Look At Us” and congregational hymns.

Casket bearers will be Shane Wingerter, Tim Pryor, Tony Waters, Matt Cowman, Jeremiah Davis, Zach Davis and Ben Wingerter.

Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the Church on Wednesday. Services are under the direction of the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO.
