Funeral services for Nellie Lea (DeMoss) Robinson, 62, of Knoxville, who died January 13,
were held January 16, 1995, at First United Methodist Church in Knoxville. Burial
was at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville. The Rev. Martha Ward officiated at the services.
Music was provided by James Kidder, organist, and Stephanie Young, soloist.

Pallbearers were Becky Hulgan, James Alan Hulgan, Susan De Moss, Charles De Moss
Jr., Sam Thompson, and Steve Hulgan.

Nellie was born December 19, 1932, in Marion County, the daughter of Charles Carl
and Arlene Cowman De Moss.

She attended country school in Marion County, the Monroe Community Schools, and graduated
from Knoxville High School in 1951. She was employed at the Community National Bank
for 19 years and worked at the Hormel Company for 12 years.

She was united in marriage to Charles Gilbert Cook on December 6, 1952.

On December 31, 1981, she married Wendell Robinson at the First Christian Church
in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Wendell; a son, Michael Cook of Chicago, Ill.; a
daughter, Julie Cook of Knoxville; a step-son, Michael Robinson of Houston, Texas;
a stepdaughter, Kathy Schutte of Muncie, Ind.; a brother, Charles De Moss of Grand
Island, Neb.; three sisters, Martha Hulgan of Des Moines, Charlene Thompson of Knoxville,
and Jo Ann Malone of Long Beach, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church.
