Services for Misty Shea Burns, 18, Knoxville, who died at the Iowa Methodist Medical
Center from injuries sustained in a car accident on Nov. 29, 1992, were Dec. 2 at
the Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville.
Burial was at the Pleasantville Cemetery
in Pleasantville. The Rev. Robert C. Smith officiated at the service. Music was
provided by Darlene Mooberry. Pallbearers were Michael Burk, Tim Burk, Reubon Corneliason,
Jeff Meacham, Jim Walker and Mike Whiddon.
She was born on July 26, 1974, in Albia,
the daughter of William Max and Norma Jean Moss of Knoxville. Misty was a 1992 graduate
of Knoxville High School. She was attending the American Institute of Business in
Des Moines at the time of her death.
Misty worked for the Super-Valu Food Store
for over 11/2 years before she was employed at Hy-Vee in Knoxville, later the Hy-Vee
store in Indianola and was presently working at the Hy-Vec store on Fleur Drive
in Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents. Survivors
include her parents of Knoxville; one brother, Eddie Burns of Phoenix, Ariz.; and
her grandparents, Carl and Katie Cox of Moravia.
