Services for Maxine Myra Welshhons, 63, who died April 18, 1980 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines were held April 22 at Williams Funeral Home. Interment was at Graceland Cemetery. Rev. William Travis officiated at the services. Anna Oscarson was organist.

Pallbearers were
David Marshall, Greg Marshall, Kevin Marshall, Joachim Clemens, Terry Welshhons, Randy Welshhons and Steve Welshhons.

Mrs. Welshhons was born August 20, 1916 at Adair, Iowa, the daughter of Charles Carl Gottfried Wahe (1890-d.1977) and Altha Edsall Wahe (b.1881-d.1931).

She attended school in Knoxville, graduating from Knoxville High School in 1934. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

She was married to Garold Welshhons on September 2, 1935 at Greenfield, Iowa.

She is survived by her husband, Garold, two daughters, Mrs. John (Marilyn) Marshall of Naukesha, Wis. and Mrs. Jack (Kayann) Bolejock of Sacramento, Calif., five sons Glenn of Cedar Rapids, Jack of Bryant, Ark, Gary of Little Rock, Ark., Gene of Pine Bluff, Ark., Charles of Columbus, Miss., her stepmother, May Wahe of Panora, Ia., and one sister, Vinetta Mae "Sally" Wahe of Mesa, Ariz., 24 grand-children and two step-sisters, Fay Gettle of Minneapolis, Minn. and Fern Jeep of Colorado Springs, Colo.
