Memorial services for Laurie Sue (Geery) Oelerich, 46, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Knoxville, who died March 21, at her home, will be held April 6, 1999, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Knoxville, at 11 a.m.

Laurie was born July 1, 1952, in Knoxville, the daughter of Woodrow and Florence Rennels Geery. She lived in Melcher until 1960 when her family moved to Knoxville. She graduated from Knoxville High School in 1970.

She attended the University of Iowa, graduating in 1974 with a BS degree in nursing. She practiced as cardiac care registered nurse in hospitals and clinics around the country over the course of 20 years, including Iowa Lutheran in Des Moines.

She was united in marriage to David Oelerich on June 24, 1983. She is survived by her parents of Knoxville; her husband, Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Ann; of Columbus; two sisters, Ann Broadhead of Knoxville, Tenn., and Gail Cline of Newton; and a brother, Cole of Tucson, Ariz.
