Services for Helen Kathryn (Rinehart) Brown, 70, Knoxville, who died of a heart attack on Jan. 31, 1994, at West
Ridge Manor Nursing Home in Knoxville, were Feb. 3, 1994, at the Bybee and Davis
Funeral home in Knoxville.

Burial was at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville. The Rev.
Aaron McCombs officiated at the service. Music was provided by Jim Kidder. Pallbearers
were Alan Peacock, Michael Scott, John Rinehart, Allen Rinehart, Dennis Bentley
and Kenneth Bentley.

Helen was born on March 25, 1923, in Marion County, the daughter
of John C. and Mary E. Hart Rinehart. Helen graduated from Knoxville High School
in the Class of 1943.

She was employed in food services at the Knoxville Veterans
Hospital, retiring in 1979. On Jan 72, 1958, she was married to Oscar Brown and
the couple Helen had been a resident at West Ridge Manor Nursing Home in Knoxville
since May 1993.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on Feb. 8,
1993 and one sister in infancy. Survivors include one son, Jack Brown of Knoxville;
one daughter, Frances Hayes of Des Moines; two sisters, Charlene Rinehart and Phyllis
Stephens, both of Knoxville; one brother, Robert Rinehart of Ashland, Neb.; six
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Knoxville
Rescue Unit or the First Christian Church.

The Bybee and Davis Funeral Home in Knoxville
was in charge of the arrangements.
