A graveside service was held Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at the Columbia Cemetery.
Eric Dunbar McBroom was born on July 21, 1979, to Martha Pettyjohn McBroom and Kenneth
Terry McBroom.
He passed away on Sept. 1, 2010, at the age of 31 years. Eric grew
up around the Columbia and MelcherDallas area. He went to school in Knoxville and
graduated from Melcher-Dallas in 1997.
He was blessed with three children: Mercedes,
age 6, Dakota age 4, and Braxton 6 months. Eric worked at Wal Mart in Knoxville
for 10 years. He enjoyed being with family, going fishing, all animals, and had a great sense of humor. Most of all he loved his children.
He was preceded in death
by grandparents, John and Audrey Pettyjohn.
He will be missed by his children: Mercedes,
Dakota, and Braxton; his parents: Terry and Martha McBroom; siblings: Jason (Jackie)
McBroom and Elizabeth (Thomas) Bates; grandparents: Kenneth and Shirley McBroom;
and many Friends & relatives.
